Great stuff, you want to participate but you’ve got stuck on verifying your store, don’t worry! Validation is pretty straightforward, if you are a member of Google Analytics or Yahoo Search Tools – you will recognise the procedure.

There are two methods of validation

1. Using a META tag in the page head
2. Uploading a HTML file to the root directory of the store

We have made up two very useful videos to run you through the procedure if you get stuck

1. Register on the home page and download the verification file: mb_validate.html
2. Crack open your favourite FTP client
3. Navigate to the root directory of your demo store (same location as index.php)
4. Upload the file

3. Open the file ./app/design/frontend/[template]/[template]/page/html/head.phtml
4. Paste in your validation meta tag anywhere in between the …. tags
